3 Quality assurances
All teachers both have qualifications in the subject they teach, have practical pedagogical education and have attended IB workshops in their respective subjects. Assessment is a vital part of this training.
When externally assessed is assessed, teachers receive the overall results in the subject. In addition, they receive all the component details of each student. This will be compared with how the student has been assessed during the two IB DP years. In the subject reports, the various components and criteria of assessment are explained and explored. There are also recommendations for future teaching and assessment in the subject. All these measures make up the quality work that we do as individual teachers and as a school community when it comes to assessment.
